Return & Exchange Policy

This policy is drafted to align with Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Distance Contracts Regulation. Where mandatory local rules differ for the customer’s country, those rules prevail.

2) Scope & Definitions

  • Consumer: A natural person purchasing for non‑commercial / non‑professional purposes.
  • Business Purchaser (B2B): A trader or legal entity purchasing for commercial / professional use.
  • Product: Spare parts, electronic boards/modules, accessories and related goods.

3) Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 30 days from delivery to the consumer or the person at the delivery address, without providing any reason and without incurring any penalty.

  • Notice: To exercise the right of withdrawal, send a written notice by email or through My Account > Return Request within 30 days.
  • Return Window: After the withdrawal notice, the product must be shipped back within 10 days.
  • Condition: Items must be returned complete and undamaged with original box/packaging, all accessories, warranty card and the original invoice.

4) Exceptions to Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal cannot be used (or may be limited) for the following:

  • Custom / special‑order or personalized products made to the buyer’s specifications.
  • Used, installed, unsealed electronic boards/modules, or products whose security seal/label has been removed, or for which firmware/software has been loaded.
  • Consumables not suitable for return for hygiene reasons (e.g., gaskets, adhesive tapes) once their packaging is opened.
  • Services fully performed (e.g., workshop test/calibration), where performance has begun with the consumer’s prior consent.

5) Defective (Faulty) Goods & Warranty

  • If a product is delivered defective/damaged or a hidden defect appears later, you may request one of the statutory remedies: free repair, refund, price reduction or replacement with a non‑defective item.
  • For defective/incorrect shipments, shipping and reasonable testing/inspection costs are covered by FrigoKit.
  • For electronic parts and boards, the typical technical inspection period is 3–7 business days from receipt. If user error/incorrect installation is found, the return/exchange may be rejected and the product returned freight collect.

6) Damaged or Incomplete Deliveries

  • If you notice damage to outer packaging on delivery (crushing, tearing, wetting etc.), ask the courier to create a Damage Report and do not accept the package.
  • If any item is missing, notify us in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

7) Return & Exchange Conditions

  • Products must be complete; include all accessories, gifts/promotional items; and retain any protective films and serial number labels.
  • Do not affix shipping labels directly on the retail box/packaging.
  • For B2B purchases (invoice issued to a company/trader), consumer withdrawal rights do not apply. Returns/exchanges are evaluated under the sales contract and applicable commercial code.

8) Return Procedure

  1. Create a Ticket: Open a return request from your account or email info@frigokit.com. Include order number, product code and reason.
  2. Approval & RMA Code: We will send you an RMA (Return) Code and shipping instructions.
  3. Packing & Shipping: Pack securely with the invoice; write the RMA code on the box; ship using the instructed carrier.
  4. Inspection & Outcome: After the item reaches our warehouse, we perform physical/technical checks and inform you by email.

9) Shipping Fees

  • For returns under the right of withdrawal, unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the initial outbound shipping is not refunded. The cost of the return shipment is borne by the consumer.
  • For defective/wrong item cases, all shipping costs are covered by FrigoKit.

10) Refunds

  • We will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days from receipt of your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until the goods are received or you supply evidence of having sent them back.
  • For credit card / installment purchases, the time for the refund to appear on the statement depends on your bank’s processes.
